Graduate students
Graduate students can enter through the Biological & Biomedical Sciences Program (BBSP), an umbrella program for all bioscience PhD students at UNC. It is a flexible program that allows students to do lab rotations during their first year in any labs affiliated with 15 different PhD programs across UNC campus.
We will be accepting rotation students beginning Fall 2023. All students in the lab will receive funding support from the program and from the lab's grants.
Available training programs (T32 grants): Integrative Vascular Biology
Undergraduate students
We are seeking highly motivated undergraduate students to develop experiments using in vitro cell culture and genetic mice models of cardiovascular disease. Applicants should be able to commit minimum of 10 hours per week and at least one year in the lab. Research can be conducted for course credit during semester, and funding is often available to continue research during the summer in a full-time paid position. For more information, click here.
